Starting to feel like I want to have something to show, but also starting to feel like I need to really hunker down and focus on some stuff. Talked to some ML peeps about their thought process, and they suggested arena, which I started today.
- Went to the karpathy discussion group, which was pretty helpful for understanding.
- Paired on a trigrams implementation, and it’s really interesting that the results aren’t really too great, but they’re definitely better than random
- Started on arena. That stuffs hard.
einopsespecially is just like a wtf am I doing experience - Flushed out my mcp server a bit more. Now it can send zuliip messages :)
I think I’ll continue with a focus on learning ML while maybe working on inference on the side.
