Really starting to feel like things are going to be coming to an end soon. I’ve really enjoyed my time here. Basically everything I’ve worked on outside of work has been by myself. There’s some things I would have never gotten a chance to ask about, learn from, etc. if I hadn’t come to recurse. Really grateful + thankful for that.
- Implemented Resnet, with some help from the arena course. First time I’ve implemented the concepts from an ML paper, so that was really cool!
- Played around with an NeXTstation computer. We take a lot for granted these days. Surprisingly, though, it was quicker than I expected. Steve Jobs really worked his magic with it.
- Played some melee at the hub :)
- Attended presentations+, attended the Karpathy lecture review, and attended the AI papers meeting (this one was on RoPE, which went over my head)
