Posting this a day late because I forgot to write a note for this day. My plan for this week (last week) is to be more social and hang out with people!
- Reviewed the Karpathy video on backprop to solidify knowledge. Some parts were still confusing but the minigrad lecture helped quite a bit on that.
- Specifically, taking derivatives in light of pytorch broadcasting is tricky
- Went to the review session for this lecture. Got a chance to discuss some confusions
- Hung out with a recurse alum a bit more. He just so happened to be the person who wrote the very first technical book I ever owned. He’s also probably the reason why my career in SWE exists.
- Went to the volitional muscles in your career workshop, where we talked about how to continue these habits we’ve built up during RC in our future careers
- Went to the next karpathy video watch party
- Played a couple of board games at the hub!
