If you get the chance to be disruptive (in a good way that benefits either yourself or some others you care about), you should do it. Our growth as humans come from exploring away from the norm and what we’re comfortable with.
Being disruptive, in this context, shouldn’t be confused with being rowdy, undisciplined, or disorderly. Instead, consider it in the way we talk about technology — innovative. You can be disruptive in your life/career/whatever while minimizing harm. In fact, being disruptive in this way is another route to learn to be disciplined. Plan thoroughly, consider all edge cases, and ensure no rocks are left unturned.
